Nokia's history in Wrocław has started in 2000 with hiring 10 employees. Nowadays, almost 20 years later, it is the biggest R&D Center in ICT Sector in Poland, which provides occupation for over 4 000 employees. The numbers and importance of all the projects implemented in here highlight the fact, that Wrocław site is one of the most crucial pillars of the global structure of Nokia.
The Wroclaw Technology Centre’s mission is to organize the world’s communication and make it universally accessible. Since the beginning, we have developed into a global provider of telecommunications services. Nowadays the company brings together a variety of solutions, technologies and cultures in order to shape the future of telecommunications. Our engineers develop succeeding generations of telecommunication solutions including infrastructure for 5G
Network and Internet of Things.
Except of being engaged in constant development of technology, Nokia in Wrocław also sees the need of enabling the growth for women in IT, and work in compliance with corporate social responsibility. We are focused on being a leader not only in telecommunication but also in social changes that are visible in local job market.
