Everyone who works in Poland under a contract of employment (umowa o pracę) is entitled to 20 or 26 days (depending on their work experience) of paid annual leave every year. However, with a bit of careful planning you can more than double your holiday allowance by taking a few days off around public holidays. Take a look at the table below and keep these dates in mind when preparing your holiday schedule. Note that you are also entitled to an additional day off if a holiday falls on a Saturday (e.g. Independence Day in 2023).
