The new 2019 salary report prepared by the Antal recruitment agency presents average earnings of specialists and managers in ten business sectors in Poland. As noted in the press release, it is for the first time since 2011 that all the presented industries have seen an increase in salaries. Still, there are a number of factors which can determine the actual remuneration payable to the employees. Which skills are the most desirable to employers?
When it comes to the BPO/SSC sector, the demand for professionals with foreign languages continues to be high. While a good command of English, a global business language, is now considered a prerequisite by most international companies, fluency in an additional language such as German or French is a strong asset. Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese or any of the Nordic languages are increasingly sought after by employers as well, making the skills of foreign or bilingual professionals all the more invaluable. According to the report, foreigners now constitute around 10 per cent of employees in the sector and that share is bound to grow as the number of language positions continues to rise.
Take a look at the chart to get an idea of salary ranges across various job positions and levels. More details and industries are to be found in the Antal report.
