The second-most searched personality in Poland wasn’t a politician or an athlete – it was Budda. Alas, it was not the “h” containing Buddha, aka the meditating spiritual leader, who inspired our collective minds – but a popular Polish YouTuber, whose alleged criminal antics made waves.

Also, on the list: Donald Trump, and Julia Shermeta (again). Politics and sports – Poles can’t seem to choose!

If you thought Google’s role as a modern oracle wasn’t hilarious enough, the “most asked questions” category seals the deal. Poles wanted to know everything, from the salaries of local officials to the run time of Dune 2 – because we just wanted to know how many buckets of popcorn we should prepare to power through the experience. (The answer is: 2 hours 46 minutes, and 3 buckets, at least. )

Pop Culture in 2025: Movies, TV series, and Taylor Swift

Poles showed their cinematic tastes were put to the test in 2025. Interestingly though, instead of the international superhero blockbuster, it was the dazzling remake of Akademia Pana Kleksa that was leading the film charts.

On the silver screen series front, the Polish produced historical-comedy 1670 stole the show, while concerts by Taylor Swift and Imagine Dragons turned Poland into a live music hotspot.
