Description

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Country Lead to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping our HR strategy and operations.

In this role, you will provide strategic and operational HR leadership, partnering with management and employees to drive initiatives across performance management, organizational development, and employee relations. You will also oversee payroll operations, compliance, and cultural transformation, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive consulting and support to teams, management, and employees on all HR-related tasks, including new hires/onboarding policies and processes, compensation, case management, and change management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and performance improvement plans, while identifying training needs and developing relevant programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Lead efforts to define, communicate, and reinforce the organization's culture and values, champion diversity and equity, and foster an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative workplace environment.
  • Collaborate with local management teams to influence the setting and achievement of organizational and staffing objectives and facilitate negotiations with works councils.
  • Roll out and manage organizational development, reward, performance, and talent management initiatives, ensuring proper data management in various HR systems and overseeing the implementation and support of group-wide HR tools.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations/situational issues. Conduct and support effective, thorough, and objective employee relations, ethics, or compliance investigations (initial interviews & fact gathering); participate in internal investigations, corrective actions, and coaching to resolve employee conflicts.
  • Deeply understand the business strategies of each supported group and translate them into HR programs, processes, and initiatives that drive value and meet business needs.
  • Develop annual HR strategies aligned with the strategic priorities of the company and/or global HR function, identifying and developing key talent across business groups, and driving change management practices to enable organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to business leaders and HR business partners related to talent development, performance coaching, inclusion, and engagement.
  • Management of a local HR team.
  • Partner with various internal teams, including Recruiting, Learning and Development, to forecast headcount needs, identify capability requirements, and develop learning solutions while ensuring compliance with employment-related legal matters.
  • Provide leadership for onboarding and new employee orientation for the location, overseeing compliance with local and global requirements, and driving diversity and inclusion practices to create a thriving work environment for colleagues and leaders.
  • Manage payroll operations, including processing, and benefits administration. Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
  • Monitor and reconcile payroll accounts, payments, and deductions, staying compliant with regulations.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve payroll issues and provide guidance. Deliver excellent customer service, addressing employee inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Generate payroll reports for management decision-making. Improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Completed HR related studies or comparable education and training, professional HR qualifications are a significant advantage.
  • At least 10+ years' experience with 5 of these years in HR management positions.
  • Experience with matrix organizations in an international corporate environment is an advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment local laws, polish payroll obligations, allowances, entitlements. Immigration and visa related knowledge will be a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Understanding of ATS and reporting functionality, HRIS experience both implementation and process enhancement.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is a prerequisite.
  • Fluency in English and Polish.
