Your role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Freelance Sales Representative with extensive knowledge and experience in the academic sector, particularly with Erasmus+ programmes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting and expanding the brand MyErasmusCourse, along with the offerings of the Irish-based schools within our group. MyErasmusCourse seeks to promote Erasmus+ opportunities for those travelling to Ireland. This individual will be responsible for developing relationships with universities and institutions throughout Europe that coordinate Erasmus programmes, driving enrolment, and increasing brand visibility.
The role will start as part-time, with the possibility to transition to full-time later in 2025, and it will also involve travelling.
The role will suit candidates who can work remotely, freelance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and engage with universities, academic institutions, and other stakeholders involved in Erasmus+ programs.
- Promote MyErasmusCourse offerings and affiliated schools to potential partners and institutions.
- Conduct presentations, webinars, and meetings with prospective partners to showcase the value of our courses.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with university coordinators, academic staff, and decision-makers within Erasmus+ programmes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partner institutions, addressing their needs, concerns, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Collaborate and report to the internal team to ensure smooth onboarding and support for partner institutions.
Brand Promotion:
- Expand and enhance the visibility of the MyErasmusCourse brand across relevant academic networks and platforms.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and events aimed at increasing brand awareness.
- Attend industry conferences, fairs, and networking events to represent and promote MyErasmusCourse.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Monitor trends in the academic and Erasmus+ sectors to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Provide feedback and insights to the group regarding market needs, competitive landscape, and potential areas for expansion.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or academic liaison roles, preferably within the higher education or Erasmus+ sectors.
- In-depth understanding of Erasmus+ programmes, processes, and the academic landscape.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are highly desirable.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Essential Experience:
Direct experience working with Erasmus+ Programmes, specifically in developing or managing partnerships with universities or institutions, coordinating Erasmus projects, or driving enrolment for Erasmus-funded courses.
